George Chamoun
George Chamoun has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since September 2016. Prior to joining us, Mr. Chamoun held various positions at Synacor, Inc., or Synacor. Mr. Chamoun co-founded Synacor’s predecessor company, Chek, Inc., and served as its Chief Executive Officer from January 1998 until he led the acquisition of MyPersonal.com, Inc. in December 2000 to form Synacor. Prior to departing Synacor in September 2016, Mr. Chamoun most recently served as President of Service Provider Sales and Marketing. In addition to his work as our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chamoun currently serves as chairman of Launch NY, a nonprofit organization supporting the start-up ecosystem in Upstate New York. Mr. Chamoun holds a B.A. in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. We believe that Mr. Chamoun is qualified to serve on our board of directors due to his experience building and leading our business and his insight into corporate matters as our Chief Executive Officer.
Craig Anderson
Chief Corporate Development Officer
Craig Anderson
Craig Anderson has served as our Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer and Chief Legal Officer since June 2018. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Compass, a real estate platform, from July 2017 until March 2018. Before that, Mr. Anderson served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Flywheel Sports, a technology-enabled fitness provider, from September 2015 to June 2017, as well as President and Chief Operating Officer at Opt-Intelligence, an advertising exchange, from April 2013 to September 2015. Mr. Anderson began his career as an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers LLP before moving to the investment banking division of The Blackstone Group. Mr. Anderson holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Vikas Mehta

Vikas Mehta
Vikas Mehta has served as our Chief Operating Officer since January 2019. Prior to joining us, Mr. Mehta served for over a decade in several leadership roles in North America and Europe at eBay, Inc., or eBay, including as Payments Lead, Americas from June 2018 to January 2019 and General Manager, Consumer Business Germany from June 2015 to May 2018. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer at Kijiji, an eBay subsidiary and Canada’s largest classifieds site, in addition to earlier roles at the company. Prior to joining eBay, Mr. Mehta served as Manager of Sourcing Strategy at The Allstate Corporation. Mr. Mehta holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and master’s degrees in chemical engineering and technology policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Michael Waterman

Michael Waterman
Michael Waterman has served as our Chief Sales Officer since April 2019, and previously served as our Senior Vice President, Business Development beginning in October 2016. Prior to his arrival at our company, Mr. Waterman served in various product and sales management roles, including as Division Vice President at Dealertrack, Inc. from November 2012 until July 2016, Director, Strategic Dealer Sales at ADESA, Inc. from March 2011 until October 2013 and National Sales Director, Inventory Solutions at Dealertrack, Inc. from March 2006 until March 2011. He also began his career managing dealerships. Mr. Waterman holds a B.S. in finance from Kent College.
William Zerella

William Zerella
William Zerella has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2020. Prior to joining us, Mr. Zerella served as Chief Financial Officer of Luminar Technologies, Inc. from June 2018 to May 2020. Mr. Zerella also served as Chief Financial Officer of Fitbit, Inc. from June 2014 to June 2018. In addition to these roles, he has previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Vocera Communications, Inc., Force10 Networks Inc., Infinera Corporation and Calient Technologies, Inc., along with holding various other senior level financial and management positions at additional companies, including GTECH Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Zerella is currently a member of the board of directors of GroundTruth Inc., where he also serves as chair of the audit committee. Mr. Zerella holds a B.S. in accounting from the New York Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Kate Clegg

Kate Clegg
Kate Clegg has served as our Chief Marketing Officer since October 2019. Her experience spans strategic planning, brand building and messaging, public relations/social media, analyst relations, communications, event marketing, digital and direct marketing, analytics, eCommerce, and product innovation. She has a passion for building brands, developing team members and championing company cultures. Prior to joining ACV, Kate served as CMO for the national home furnishings retailer Arhaus. She also formerly served as Partner and SVP, Marketing for Rosetta (part of Publicis Groupe), one of the country’s leading interactive agencies. Her significant experience within the agency world gave her exposure to solving marketing and branding needs for companies across a wide range of industry verticals. Kate has a BA from Smith College where she was a Sociology major with a focus on Immigration and Refugee Policy. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and two children.
Joe Neiman

Joe Neiman
Joe Neiman has served as Chief Customer Success officer since September 2016. One of ACV's founders, Joe started his automotive career at 15 years old and never looked back. He grew and developed a successful independent dealership that eclipsed annual retail sales of 500+ and month over month inventory turn exceeding 100%. His challenges associated with sourcing enough inventory drove him to reconsider his own business and join a large-scale franchise dealership operation. In this setting, he learned first-hand how the new car dealerships struggle at appraising trades and liquidating wholesale inventory. Being able to walk in both the new and used car dealer’s shoes provided Joe the unique perspective to create a solution that would bring both buyers and sellers together with a legitimate auction that removed all the time commitments, logistical challenges, high costs per transaction, and risk.
Dan Magnuszewski
Chief Technology Officer
Dan Magnuszewski
Dan Magnuszewski has served as Chief Technology Office since ACV's founding. While Dan grew up around a used car lot, his love of technology, engineering, and the internet lead him down a different path. He became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) out of high school and studied Computer Science at the University of Buffalo. While studying, he worked for M&T Bank developing and designing network monitoring software. A few years out of school Dan began working at Synacor, first as a systems administrator, and then as a software engineer. Eventually leaving Synacor to start new companies and freelance as a "technical co-founder for hire" working with startups in NYC and California. Working with startups led him to his next endeavor as Managing Director at Z80 Labs, a technology incubator and seed fund. Over the next two and half years he would assist, mentor, and invest in early stage startups.
Sallie Reid
VP People & Culture
Sallie Reid
Sallie Reid has served as VP of People & Culture since October 2020. Sallie is a senior human resources professional who leads all ACV initiates related to People and Culture.Sallie focuses on employee development, leadership coaching, change management, succession planning and team-building to create powerful experiences for employees, customers and clients. Sallie was a Vice President of Human Resources at Delaware North, one of the largest privately held hospitality and food service companies in the world. Sallie was a Director of Human Resources for Genuine Parts Company, a Fortune 200 Company engaged in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts. Other related experience includes working for Wegmans Food Markets, a large privately held regional supermarket chain. Sallie graduated from Widener University with her Masters in Human Resources Management and has a BS from the State University of New York College at Brockport where she had a dual Major of Communications with Business and Health Science. In addition, Sallie is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM -SCP) and an HRCI Certified Senior Professional (SPHR).
